Clean Power Alliance
As California’s new local electricity provider for over a million customers across Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, Clean Power Alliance brings communities the power to choose more renewable energy at competitive rates for their homes and businesses. Their brand identity needed to make education about this new service accessible and discourage “opting out”.
The Clean Power Alliance brand has a unique style that combines retro elements with a modern execution. The aesthetic is friendly and approachable, matching their brand voice and values.
The brand features dozens of illustrations representing what makes up clean energy communities across the coast, cities and suburbs including buildings, transportation methods, energy sources, and people with diverse qualities.
A reliance on illustration is a way for the brand to highlight community while having enough customization to connect to individuals with unique experiences.
Collateral created for Clean Power Alliance includes a website and animated explainer video as well as stationery, business cards, large printed banners, multiple printed mailers, one pagers, a presentation deck, and sub-identity for the Green Leader Program.
Since their debut, Clean Power Alliance has successfully achieved their low opt-out rate goal, creating huge impact with green energy in our communities.
