America's Most Wanted Food Labels
America's Most Wanted Food Labels is an initiative hosted by Take Part and Consumer Reports that chronicles what food labels really mean and how to avoid misinterpretation. This campaign included the design for an infographic that was featured on TakePart, web banners, and event collateral including presentation screens, a program booklet, name tags and event signage.
We are all inundated with the visuals of label design as a mandatory subconscious decision maker. Labels designed with a typical traditional aesthetic are overlapped and somewhat illegible to overwhelm the viewer. Additional label and ribbon themes are used throughout the designs. The color scheme was chosen to represent the takepart brand, creating a sub-brand experience with this initiative.
